‘Powerful, passionate and inspiring’ is what fans have been saying about the release of the new single ‘Beautiful Day’ by State Society, which was unleashed online via their Sound Cloud two weeks back. Written by the band and recorded by David Grevler at Anti-Motion Studios, ‘Beautiful Day’ is the first release after the debut album ‘This Life’ was issued in late 2012.
Now fans can see what the ultimate ‘Beautiful Day’ is in the form of the brand new music video which has just been released. Featuring footage taken by Lain Glossop, this perfectly crafted depiction of what a beautiful day should be can now be viewed by fans across the world on Youtube. ‘We wanted a music video that depicts exactly what the most beautiful day would be like. The original footage filmed and supplied by Lain is perfect for the message the song conveys. The song is all about enjoying the everyday beauty life has to offer and the visuals show off what our amazing country boasts for anyone to enjoy. From the depths of the ocean to the top of a mountain, fans are in for a visual extravaganza of nature when viewing the video.’ says Marchant Pretorius, guitarist for State Society.
Not only has the music video for ‘Beautiful Day’ been released, the song is also being heard on radio stations across the country. ‘The timing and release of the new track works perfectly with what we have in store from the band. With our upcoming performances across the country including our debut at Oppikoppi this year, we are thrilled that we can finally share ‘Beautiful Day’ with all our fans.’ explains bassist, Mike Pocock. The hard work and dedication put in by all four members of the band is starting to pay off and State Society is on the road to big things in their career at the moment.
